My guy M's a stud, but the man purse is really hard to pull off. Trying to get him to bring his own bag was like trying to get him to go to the dentist! But then he discovered that Stop and Shop sells cheap, reusable bags that don't scream "hippie" and carry way more, way more comfortably than either paper or plastic. He keeps one at the office and two at home, and is no longer a bag-taker!
You can get Stop and Shop bags at any local store, so I'll tell you about these bags from Ecoezi, which would have been my choice for groceries -- I love how tiny they are when they're packed up.
