Armour Sans Anguish: Ensure you're "That Girl"

Clothing by Armour sans Anguish is not for the shy. But finding the right dress by Tawny Holt and Julie Edwards is like finding your glass slipper. Not only are their one of a kind dresses carefully constructed from vintage finds, but each piece is entirely unique, as if the girls were listening to what the fabric had always dreamt of being.

My perfect dress is to the right (no, that's not me... one of the tragedies of being the camera wielder is never having photos of yourself) and while I love it unconditionally, I would recommend it with one caveat: most of the edges were unhemmed, which I loved, but one of the fabrics used disintegrated slowly all night, leaving tiny trails of soft gold fuzz behind me. I'm not worried about getting my money's worth from this dress, but its construction was not for those who like their nights perfect and their dresses predictable.

Do check out their website at www.armoursansanguish.com, especially the gallery of former creations and their charming blog. If you're as enamored as I am, take a look at these gorgeous deigns from a recent photo shoot -- I can only hope they'll be for sale soon!

In addition to the Armour sans Anguish shop, a few bits and pieces can be found at Beklina, BTC Elements and Envi. Since everything's one of a kind, make sure to grab your favorites before they belong to someone else!
