Jazz up your beach wear

Ladies, it's time we stopped thinking "practical" while swimsuit shopping and started thinking "show stopping." I was at a pool party this weekend, and there wasn't a single person (myself included) who wasn't decked out in a two piece in either basic black or a tropical print. It didn't matter how great anyone looked -- I would have killed to see someone breaking the mold! I know, bathing suit shopping is hell. You have to find something that's going to stay on. You have to find something that's going to look good all season (and, let's be honest, for as many seasons as possible so as to go bathing suit shopping as little as possible.) And oh yeah, it's got to make you look like the beach goddess you know you could be, if it weren't for those damn florescent lights.

My solution has been mix and match black, and you know what? I look boring! New resolution -- get over thinking that it's possible to stand out in a simple suit, and start finding something that brings it's own "wow" to the party.

This one piece from Kelly B is the perfect practical fashion suit, because even though it might leave you with a funky tan (though you'd deserve it for not wearing sunscreen), unlike a lot of other trendy options, it looks completely wardrobe-malfunction proof! Oh, and it's organic, the straps are adorably multicolored, and even though cut outs are super in right now, this version has enough classic Hollywood glamour to look spot on for years.
