Channel a Sartorialist pick with eco-friendly finds
Can I just say that I love, love, love the Sartorialist? Honestly, there are days that I find his amazingly curated photos of real people even more inspiring that any fashion collection. That's especially true of his photos taken at the Bryant Park tents, where everyone is showing off their best ensembles (and does it pay off!)
Like this combo of a dramatic black and white print, a relaxed brown cardi, and cinching black belt and a pop of blue bag? Try out the eco-friendly version, with an organic graphic shirt dress, a recycled fabric sweater, a vintage patent belt, and a gorgeous bag made of repourposed vintage leather jackets.
Covet Organic Poplin Shirtdress $128 (tried this on at Envi, and it is SUPER flattering!), Urban Renewal Remade Boyfriend Cardigan $48, Ashley Watson "Warbler" Recycled Handbag $320. Vintage belts are best tried on in person, but I happen to like this one on Ebay right now.
